Who gets it

Removing or adjusting it
Can be removed/reduced at Guest Services onboard, typically after charges post (near end of voyage) and before disembarking. Prepaid gratuities cannot be removed before boarding; adjustment must be done at Guest Services onboard. Carnival is comparatively strict.
Prepay vs onboard
Can prepay before boarding to lock the lower rate. Bookings prepaid through April 1, 2026 keep the prior $16/$18 rates; not-prepaid guests sailing on/after April 2, 2026 pay $17/$19.

Same daily rate as adults; applies to all guests regardless of age.
