Disney cruise gratuities are $16.00 per guest per night in standard staterooms and $27.25 per guest per night in Concierge staterooms and suites, and Disney applies the rate to every guest in the room, infants and children included. For a family of two adults and two kids in a standard stateroom, that is $64 a night: $256 on a 4-night sailing and $448 on a 7-night one.
The kids are the part families tend to underestimate. A toddler is charged exactly what an adult is, so half of that $448 is for the two children.
How much are Disney cruise gratuities per night?

The rates have held since late January 2025, when the standard rate rose from $14.50 and the Concierge rate from $23.50. Where the $16 goes
Disney says exactly who the standard amount is for: four crew roles, your dining room team and your stateroom host. (Source: Disney Cruise Line gratuities FAQ, verified September 2026.) Disney's FAQ doesn't print the dollar split, but the independent Disney Cruise Line Blog reported the per-role split, which it gives as a general breakdown, when the 2025 rates took effect, and Undercover Tourist lists the same figures. The Concierge row is the useful one. The upgrade raises your gratuity by $11.25 per guest per night, and $10 of that goes to the Concierge Lounge team. If your family books Concierge and barely uses the lounge, the recommended amount still sends $280 over a week for four people to the lounge team. A fare comparison between the two cabins won't show that, so add it to the price difference yourself.
What the recommended gratuity does not cover
The nightly amount covers rotational dining and your stateroom. Disney lists what falls outside it: alcoholic drinks and other extras added to rotational dining meals, the adult and premium restaurants, food or drink from shops and poolside or outdoor eateries, room service, Port Adventures, Senses Spa and Salon, and any other additional service. Several of those carry their own charge. Disney adds an 18 percent gratuity to bar, beverage, wine, adult and premium dining, deck service tabs and spa services. Prepaying, adjusting and tipping extra
You can prepay online under My Reservations in your Disney account, or through your travel agent if one booked the cruise. If you do not, the amount goes on your onboard account, and Guest Services can remove or adjust it once you are aboard. Near the end of the cruise your stateroom host leaves a form and four small envelopes, one for each member of your dining team and your host, showing what each person gets from the pre-charged amount.
